After a readiness assessment or governance workshop, many families need sustained guidance as they execute a transition plan. This retainer provides a dedicated advisor available for monthly check-ins, ad-hoc calls during critical moments, and quarterly progress reviews against agreed milestones.
Typical milestones we help design
Formation of an advisory board, formal appointment of a successor to a deputy role, staged reduction of founder signing authority, external management recruitment if no internal successor is ready, and communication plans for employees and key customers.
Cadence
One full-day on-site visit per quarter, two video calls per month, and email response within one business day for non-urgent matters. Urgent matters during active transition events are addressed same-day where possible.
Boundaries
We advise on process and communication. Legal documentation, tax filings, and operational management remain the responsibility of your existing professional team.
